• Markets: Ex. ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO, etc. 
• Products: spot power, capacity, RECs, VPPAs, Carbon, etc.
• Strategy: arbitrage, congestion, hedging, origination, etc.

Regulatory Setup

• Corporate formation: LLC registered
• Regulatory registrations: FERC Power Marketer License, NERC eTag Authority, EIA Reporting
• ISO/RTO in process

Tech Systems

• ETRM: deal capture and settlements, can be done in excel in the beginning. Will move to robust software after funding.
• Market portals: RTO/ISO tools, ICE, Nodal,  allows market participants to submit data to participate in markets
• Research: many different vendors to look at
• Scheduling tools: OATI, PCI, etc. can outsource to Tenaska

Headcount (estimating 4-6 people)

• Power trader(s): experience in specific ISOs
• Quant/data engineer/research analyst: Forecasting, pricing, in-house models. 
• Scheduler: Can outsource to Tenaska if needed
• Risk/compliance officer. Mitigates regulatory and financial risk, P/L reporting
